This visa category is designed for foreign individuals who wish to enter Timor-Leste for short-term business prospecting activities or to explore potential investments. It is suitable for initial visits, market research, and preliminary discussions.
Purpose: Business prospecting, investment exploration.
Validity: Maximum period of sixty (60) days from the date of entry.
Entries: Allows for multiple entries within its validity period.
Extension: Generally, this visa is not extended beyond its initial 60-day period, as it is intended for short-term engagements.
Application Fee: USD $100.00.
Key Requirements:
Valid travel document (passport) with at least six months validity from the entry date and at least one blank page for the visa sticker.
Proof of sufficient financial means to support the stay in Timor-Leste (e.g., bank statements, proof of funds, typically around US$150 per day).
A return ticket or proof of onward travel, or demonstrated ability to fund own departure.
Declaration of accommodation in Timor-Leste.
Documents justifying the objective or conditions of stay (e.g., invitation letters from Timorese companies, business meeting schedules, investment proposals).
Proving document of professional skill (if applicable).
Any other means of proof as specified by the Immigration Service.
